What is Mommy Power?

Mommy Power is the amazing ability instilled in all moms. It is the ability to kiss away the boo-boos, the way we sing away the sorrows, the wisdom we give to ease childhood dilemmas and the pure love we put in everything we do for them. It is the way we bring in the sunshine on a rainy day, the way we face every obstacle to provide the best for our kids-no matter the circumstance and it is the light that shines in their eyes. It is the way we make take the everyday and turn it into happy memories for them. It is our ability to let them leave our loving arms and enter the world-no matter how scary, and wait for their excited return. It is that safety net we give them to break the rules only to learn from the mistakes, so they can grow into confident and well rounded adults.

You can hear it in their voices, when you return from any outing without them. You feel it in their hugs and kisses. You see it in their smiles. This is Mommy Power and it is amazing. The pride you feel from your kid(s), is what keeps you and your family going strong. For without these sweet little bundles of joy, there would be no Mommy Power, there would just be you. I have three beautiful children and would not pass up any of it. They are what make me stronger, give me hope for tomorrow and make a better person. They make me Mommy.
