Mommy power encompasses many things because being a mommy requires so many things. Mommy power means having the ability to multi-task, keeping the balance between protecting your children at all costs and giving them everything you can with raising them to be good adults, and being the one your whole family can turn to whenever someone or something is needed. It’s a difficult balance, and a hard job, but having mommy power keeps families together and children happy and healthy. Mommy power is what keeps everything together.
Mommy power is not just being the one making the decisions for your children, but also being the one taking responsibility for them. You have to weigh the choices, consider the options, and predict the outcomes. You have to take the responsibility of being the most important teacher in your children’s lives. You have to look at your children, love them unconditionally and teach them, and take responsibility for their behavior, their manners, and their habits.
And, above everything else, to have mommy power you have to be the best mommy to your children that you can possibly be at all times. There is no break; there is no vacation. Having mommy power means having the knowledge that your children are more important than sleeping, eating, taking a shower when you want, getting your hair done, working, or cleaning – your children are more important than you.
